Hi,
When I upgraded to Windows 10, all of a sudden, my NASA Hidden Universe slideshow theme displays different photos on my dual monitors. I prefer having the same picture displayed on both, as it did on Windows 7. Can anyone help?
I'm running Windows 10 Professional.
Thanks,
clearskye
Try going to settings>personalization>background and select picture. If you see the picture you want there it will keep it from changing. If not go to themes and select it there.
I've done that. Nasa Hidden Universe is not in backgrounds, it is in themes. I've tried selecting something different, and then returning to my slideshow theme. but I get different universes on each monitor. A bit distracting. it used to display the same photo on both, and then when the photo changed, it changed on both to the same next photo displayed on both monitors.
The background area allows you to have a picture or the slideshow. Did u try changing anything there? So, if I understand it, changing pictures is ok, you just want the same picture each time it changes. What gpu r u using?
I've been trying it out, I don't think it's possible!
What you could try is acquiring or resizing a handful desired images in dual monitor resolution, (your combined resolution), put them in a folder, then run them as a slideshow in 'spanned' mode.
I don't think he's after one picture spanning the two monitors, he just want the same picture on both. Perhaps Brink's How to Change your Desktop Background in Windows 10, will help him. Another possible is to go to system>Display>Advanced display settings>Multiple displays and select Duplicate desktop 1 on 2.
Thanks for responding, Edwin. Well, it is possible, because my husband also runs two monitors, and it's the same on both of his.
But we can't find any difference in the settings.

Hi KACI,
What that does is displays the exact same content on both monitors. The reason I have two monitors is so I can have one program open on one monitor, and a different open on the second. I'll check out Brink's, thanks. And by the way, I'm a woman, not a man!
Best,
Skye
KACI, is Brink's a book, a blog, or what? How do I find it?
Skye
Go to tutorials and pick Appearance and Personalization. It's there.
