Upgrading a Friends SX2110G Gateway PC

Yes, I know its shit. I am look into upgrading the processor. If its possible at all, what processors would be compatible with it? Some are saying you can't upgrade it, some are saying you can. I don't want answers saying "get a better pc", I would like my actual question answered. Thanks.
Heres the pc: Refurbished: Gateway Desktop PC SX Series SX2110G-UW23 6 GB DDR3 500 GB HDD AMD Radeon HD 7310 Windows 8 64-Bit - Newegg.com

What is wrong with it? It will run Windows 10 just fine. Nothing wrong with the unit and what it comes with. Even though the one you linked is no longer stocked, because they have exhausted all of the off-lease units that Newegg may have had available from their vendor, does not mean that the unit gets sent to the graveyard.

There are limitations to what CPU that you can put in there, with that you are not going to get much more horsepower out of it with swapping CPU's. It will run just fine as a server, desktop PC, media server. Being that it is a Mini-itx motherboard, you are very limited in what you can do with it and what kind of motherboard you can put into it. The CPU's on those boards are not usually capable of being swapped out.

Also those E1 CPU's are a APU/CPU/GPU all in one. If you want better, then look through the stock of Refurb/Off Lease. My father was able to get a Quad Core AMD E-4 through Newegg not that long ago. He only does word processing and goes online to check news. He got it for around $200.

This is the list of the chipsets that AMD has manufactured. You need to go down to the table "Fusion Controller Hub. List of AMD chipsets - Wikipedia This is the PDF on that class of chipset.

Nothings wrong with it. Just that, get this, he games on the damn thing. If he can handle the low fps he gets now, I can imagine he'd be over joyed with even the slightest upgrade. Could you provide some links to some CPUs I could put in the thing thats better than the stock?

Doubt you will find anything for it as that CPU is actually a laptop CPU,

Which means finding anything will be next too impossible. Not to mention that the CPU is likely soldered to the socket, which if that is the case it is impossible to remove it even if you did manage to find something better.

Again nothing that he can do with a Laptop Motherboard in a Mini-itx case. Again there is no way to swap the CPU as I stated, because it is a part of the motherboard when it was manufactured. It would even work as a good NAS if he decided to upgrade to something better. Nothing wrong with the unit as long as he is not gaming.

If he wants a better machine, then he needs to look at the Off Lease/Refurbished on newegg. Like I also stated before, my father got a killer deal on a AMD Quad Core that runs circles around what he had before.

Yep, same CPU that is in my wife's Satellite C850D. That system would make a pretty decent NAS running either NethSever, Zentyal or as a DVR for Plex.
