Upgrade to build 14295

I had my windows 10 set on release preview (for the insider builds) now Ive changed it to the slow ring to get my computer to automatically upgrade to the new build - I have 10586 now. However I changed to the slow ring about 3 days ago and still windows update says my pc is up to date. Do I wait or how do I preform the upgrade install myself? I'm ready for a new build.

Recently, Microsoft has released Insider Preview build 14295 ISO.
You can use this link and download the corresponding ISO file:

Thanks for your prompt response.

Ok, once downloaded what is the process I follow - mount the iso and activate setup?

Right click at the iso file > click Mount > click Setup.exe.
Installation will begin.
No product key is required.
Activation will be automatic.

So its basically like an inplace repair install, where I loose nothing - I keep my files and apps (legacy I think are the apps that dont come from the windows store)

If, during the process of installing and you are not sure what to do with the "prompt", please don't hesitate to post back and ask first.
I don't think this will happen. You don't sound like a novice.

Good luck.

Ive done an repair install to try and fix a problem - it didnt help and I solved the problem another way. I seem to remember that you are presented with a screen asking you what to keep (once you are running the setup), if im correct I think its the first option that lats you keep everything.

Can't tell you the exact sequence.
But if you read the screen and the prompts, you will be ok.

By the way, forgot to tell you.
You should have used the Fat ring setting, not Slow ring.
