Microsoft is giving away a trip for Insiders to visit Redmond...

Microsoft has announced a new contest for Windows Insiders where they can win a trip to Redmond to meet the team behind the OS. The contest is said to be 'tech-filled' and you can find all the details in the Insider Hub on Windows 10.

Microsoft announced the trip on Twitter but at this time, there is no blog post to support the event. So for now, there is not too much to go on about how to enter the competition; once Microsoft provides all the information, we will update this post.

You’re already one of the first people in the world to experience Windows 10. How about an even closer look at Windows – with a trip to Microsoft?

We are inviting 10 Insiders to Microsoft World Headquarters – and we’d like you to be one of them.

This two-day event at Microsoft Headquarters in Seattle is a unique opportunity to experience first-hand how we’re co-developing Windows with Insiders like you. Insiders selected for the trip will:

Meet with me and senior Windows leaders Get an up-close look at the Windows design process Tour our hardware design labs Hear about the evolution of Windows from Microsoft veterans Check out prototypes not yet seen by the public And more!

And, of course, we'll be covering Insiders' travel expenses, including flights, meals, accommodations and other planned activities.*

To enter, just go to the Insider Hub on the Windows 10 Start menu.

As much as we'd like to, we can't host every Insider here at Microsoft. So here's how to enter to win a spot on our invitation list: Go to the Insider Hub and submit a short video (in English) of yourself telling us what you like most about Windows 10 Technical Preview and the Windows Insider Program. We'll then draw 500 finalists – and our judging team will choose 10 winners based on your responses.

The deadline to register is March 24, 2015and winners will be announced on or about March 30, 2015. The event is scheduled for April 23-24, 2015.
