Can one still join the Insider Program?

I do have Win 10 running as an insider on an old computer. I would like to do a new "Insider install" in Virtual Box for convenience on a new computer. Is there a way to do that?

not sure but it would seem so still :

I joined it right after I installed to my main PC, there was a little Tile App for it. I go in there and complain about forced updates all the time heh.

Now it requires a product key so that won't work.

I don't see anything in All Apps except the Feedback app. I'd like to install in a VM and turn on the insider updates.

That's part of it - Look for "Insider Hub" - You can sign up for it from there.

Windows Feedback just seems to be for feedback. I don't see Insider Hub listed.

I would install a Windows 7/8/8.1 on the virtual machine if you have a product key. Upgrade that to Windows 10 build 10240, the under advanced properties of Windows Update enter the insider program fast ring. You should get an update to build 10532.

If you will be installing the operating system for the first time, you will need your Windows product key (xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx). So its not the original insider deal.

Wynona said, "You don't need a product key. You just skip the product key the first time. The second time, there's a box to click for "do this later" and the third time, you just click on Next."
I may be wrong with that statement! However, when I first joined the Insider Program, that was how it was done. I have neverbeen required to enter a product key when installing a Windows 10 build, clean or upgrade.

Now it looks as if that may have changed. I have looked all over the Windows Insider site and can not find anywhere that it says you can install Windows 10, Insider or not, without a valid copy of Windows 7 or 8.1 or a Windows 10 product key.

However, if I were attempting a new installation for testing purposes on a "virgin computer" that had never had Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 on it I'd be caught trying to get away without entering a product key.
