I cant see this mentioned, but it has been available for about 7 weeks as an unofficial installation

I'm trying to get WMC on my W10x64 computer. The other method I used didn't work. I'm curious to know your method.
I had found links to Windows Media Center installation for Windows 8 and 10. The installation for Windows 10 fails with the message that this application is not compatible or similar. But I did tried to use the Windows 8 files and worked OK in Windows 10! Just make sure you download the x86 version for 32-bit Windows and the x64 version for 64-bit Windows. Sorry I had a problem and used Windows Restore and I lost that specific bookmark. You can Google it.

Thank you for providing the links. As said before, the Windows 10 version gives an error. Use the Windows 8 version and you should be OK. One thing missing is DVD playback support. To have that, you should have upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro with WMC to Windows 10 Pro. There is no way to add it later, but can always use a third-party application such as PowerDVD or VLC to play DVDs.
