BSOD after lanching games (e.g. dota2)

Have no idea what happened
After launching the game ,the vedio drive would crash, and the computer would freeze to bsod.
Actually, this happened several monthes ago, then I downgraded to win7.Everything works fine! Today,I just reinstall
win10(not upgrade from win7) , and the anoying problem comes again!! well,I wanna win10 mostly because of its UWP apps and new UI(somehow).BUT it seems I have to downgrade because TI6 (dota2) is coming! I cant watch the showin dota2with win10(twitch is a backup). Any help will be much appreciated!!
And forgive my poor english.

Hello

The error showing up is:

VIDEO_TDR_ERROR

A VIDEO_TDR_ERROR always relates to the system's graphics card (TDR = Timeout Detection Recovery). This could be down to a number of reasons including drivers, heat, power to the card, a faulty PCI-e slot or simply a defective GPU. It's in your best interests to employ common sense trouble shooting techniques in these situations.

In your case it is almost certainly a matter of finding the right W10 driver for your system. Try the manufacturer's website first but if they have not provided any guidance look at the following thread: Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 10

Thanks for your help! I gonna try. So, this may be a hardware problem? Thanks again for your reply.

Hopefully it is not faulty hardware, you just need the correct driver installed for your system.

Emailed the support,no reply yet. I found driver for win8.1 64bit in the website. nothing for win10, probably nolonger update for old laptop.I am gonna downgrade. Need to update my hardware to enjoy win10. That will be my next desktop.Anyway, thanks for your help!

Quite often the W8.1 driver will work fine for W10. It is worth trying this before you do anything else.

Actually,I'v done it before. And there was no luck.I think only nvidia and ms can solve these video driver bugs with further update of drivers and system.
