Event 1001 and Event 902 at Random times while running GTA V

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with an Events 1001 and/or 902 crash when I run GTA V it occurs at random times, and without warning. I've reset Windows 10 Pro, uninstalled and reinstalled the game but I keep getting the crashes. Windows 10 Pro should be up to date, I have my doubts about my mouse as the manufacturer hasn't released updated drivers in some time, and the rest of my peripherals/utilities should be up to date. Thanks in advance

Hi,

Try updating your network driver (iqvw64e.sys) here: -

Thanks, I just downloaded and tried the widget on the website and it didn't find any new drivers for my system.

OK, sorry about that.

Found this on the web too: - See what you find?

Create a new GTA launcher shortcut on your desktop and add -verify to the end of the target link after the quotes.

Then run it as admin. Let the launcher verify files that are corrupted and redownload them. Rinse and repeat if you need. It works like a charm.

No worries, I am always open to the possibility that I have an out of date driver or 3.

I'm new to the world of target links, and I don't know how to add -verify to a target link or know where quotes should go. Do you know where I could find a set of step by step instructions for the process? Thanks!

UPDATE I found some instructions. Trying using them now to try fixing my crash issue.

UPDATE #2 I ran the GTA launcher with the -verify tag 2x I didn't see any indication that any files were corrupted.

After running the -verify on GTA V I got another Windows Event ID 1001 crash.

I copied the event log, and attached it to this post. I can't figure out what's causing the error.
